  • Does it hurt?

A topical numbing cream is applied before and during treatment. Sensitivity varies; mild discomfort may occur, especially during menstrual cycles.

    How long does it take?

Each session takes 2–3 hours, including numbing, outlining, tattooing, and refining.

    How long does it last?

Results fade gradually based on skin type and lifestyle. Most clients return for a touch-up at 6–8 weeks, then a refresh every 18–24 months.

Do different skin types heal differently?

Yes. Dry skin tends to heal with crisp strokes, while oily skin may heal softer. Aftercare and lifestyle greatly affect results.

    Contraindications

You may not be eligible if you are:

    • Pregnant or nursing

    • Diabetic (unless well-controlled)

    • Undergoing chemotherapy

    • Have autoimmune or major heart conditions

    • On Accutane (within the last year)

    • Have skin irritations near the area

    • Using Botox within the past month

    • Allergic to lidocaine, tetracaine, or epinephrine

  • After your initial touch-up, you may refresh every 1–3 years depending on pigment retention and skin type.
You’re ready for a refresh when your brows have faded about 50 % and hair strokes appear soft or faint.

If they still look dark or well-defined, it’s too soon to revisit—please email photos for approval before booking.

    • Arrive with clean skin, well-hydrated, and well-fed

If you have any active acne or skin irritation near the area, please contact Wildflower Beauty + Brows before your appointment. All deposits are non-refundable.

Clients on Accutane must wait 1 year after stopping use.
If you’ve had cancer or serious illness, you must be in remission for at least 1 year and provide a physician’s note.

Note: Although we've seen excellent results achieved in a single session, it is best to come in with the mindset that multiple sessions are sometimes required to achieve optimal results. Touch ups give us an opportunity to see how your skin heals, review pigment retention, and make any necessary adjustments.

  • Every client heals uniquely. Here’s what to expect and how to care for your new brows.

    Healing Process (0–8 Weeks)

    • Brows will appear darker and more defined at first.

    • Swelling and slight tenderness are normal for a few days.

    • Light flaking may occur—avoid scratching or picking.

    • True color appears between 6–8 weeks as skin naturally exfoliates.

    Care Tips

    • Avoid water, makeup, and sweating for 10 days

    • Do not expose brows to sun, chlorine, or exfoliants during healing

    • Once healed, wear SPF daily and avoid harsh acids or retinols on the area

A touch-up at 6-8 weeks is highly recommended for the best result.

Factors That Can Affect Healing & Final Results

Avoid the following during the healing process to preserve color and shape:

    1. Soap, shampoo, or cleanser contact on unhealed brows (first 10 days)

    2. Picking, scratching, or rubbing — can cause pigment loss or scarring

    3. Applying cosmetic products on unhealed brows (first 2 weeks)

    4. Threading or waxing the area (first 2–4 weeks)

    5. Swimming or exposure to bodies of water (first 2 weeks)

    6. Bleach or hair dye near brows (first 6–8 weeks)

    7. Exercising or excessive sweating (first 10 days)

    8. Long baths or direct water pressure on brows (first 10 days)

    9. Anti-aging products containing retinol

    10. Acne treatments or exfoliants with glycolic acid or vitamin C

    11. Laser treatments or Botox near the brow area

    12. Sleeping face-down or on your side (first 10 days)
